A gang of robbers looted valuables from a teacher's house at village Abdullapur of Tongibari in Munshiganj on Thursday night.
The police said that the gang of robbers numbering 8 to 10 wearing mask entered forcibly at gunpoint at about 8:30pm at the house of Parimal Chandra Saha, headmaster of a non-government high school at the village.
The robbers had looted two bhories gold jewelries, three mobile sets and Tk 1 lakh in cash, Parimal Chandra Saha said.
Tongibari Police Station officer-in-charge said that a case had been filed in this connection.
